Trump, RFK Jr reunite at Madison Square Garden rally 25 years after iconic photo

On Sunday, when former president Donald Trump appeared at Madison Square Garden to host his election event, history repeated itself. Accompanying Trump, during his loud election rally event, was a member of the Kennedy family.
25 years after Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. sat together court-side at a New York Knicks game along with John F. Kennedy – only months before a plane crash claimed his life – Trump and Kennedy Jr. both took the stage during the former election rally event at the Garden.
In no time, the internet regurgitated a picture of Trump and JFK Jr. from March 1999, showing them both enjoying some NBA action at the MSG as the New York Knicks narrowly took over the Indiana Pacers in a 94-93 game played in front of over 19,000 fans.
Notably, the same picture of Trump and JFK Jr. was doing the rounds of the internet weeks ago with a fake quote attributed to JFK Jr. that labelled Trump as a soon-to-be “unstoppable force for ultimate justice.” The picture and the quote were doing the rounds of the internet right after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. decided to end his presidential campaign and endorsed Trump, according to Reuters.
At the rally taking place at MSG in New York on Sunday, RFK took aim at the Democratic Party in front of almost 20,000 people.
“A lot of people ask me why I left the Democratic Party, and I say, ‘I didn’t leave the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party left me,’” Kennedy said and was replied to by a wave of applause. “This is not the party any more of Martin Luther King, of Robert Kennedy or John Kennedy. That was the party of peace.”
Interestingly, while RFK Jr. has decided to back Trump after dropping out of the race, many of his relatives have decided to back US Vice President Kamala Harris.
RFK’s presidential run was also spoken against by the members of the Kennedy dynasty.
